Accessibility statement

SamfunnPrep should be usable by everyone, regardless of ability. This statement explains how we meet the requirements of the Norwegian regulation on universal design of ICT solutions (WCAG 2.1 level AA) and how to tell us if something does not work for you.
Our commitment
We follow the requirements of the Norwegian Digitisation Agency's accessibility supervisor (uu-tilsynet). The service must be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, high-contrast mode and magnification. The content is available in Norwegian Bokmål, English, Ukrainian and Arabic — the Arabic interface automatically switches to right-to-left layout.
Conformance status
SamfunnPrep is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Verified working: keyboard navigation on all public pages, alt text on images, text colour contrast of at least 4.5:1, and a skip-to-content link on article pages. Open gaps are listed transparently in section 3.
Known gaps
We continuously close known gaps. Active issues are published as items in our open TODO list (docs/newsroom/TODO_DEBT.md). If you spot something not listed, please tell us — user reports take priority over internal testing.
How we test
The service is tested automatically with axe-core on 8 selected pages × 4 languages in CI before every release. Larger releases additionally get a manual pass with a screen reader (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS) and keyboard navigation. The most recent audit results are available on request.
Report a problem
If you encounter a barrier — a button you cannot activate, text a screen reader reads incorrectly, a layout that does not work on mobile or in Arabic — please email access@samfunnprep.no or use the form on the Corrections page. We respond within 5 working days with a fix timeline.
Right to complain
If you do not receive a reply or disagree with it, you can file a complaint with the Norwegian Digitisation Agency's accessibility supervisor (uutilsynet.no). They oversee the requirements set out in the Norwegian Equality and Anti-Discrimination Act § 18 and the regulation on universal design of ICT solutions.
