Why we exist
Our mission
We help immigrants in Norway understand society and prepare for the Samfunnskunnskapsprøven with greater confidence.
Understand, practise, build on what you learn. Clear explanations and topic-by-topic practice help you learn from every answer.
Language should not get in the way. Questions are available in Norwegian and English. The interface supports Norwegian, English, Ukrainian and Arabic, so you can learn at your own pace.
How you learn
From your first question to a full practice exam
You can begin without an account, study each topic at your own pace and then try a timed simulation.
Try questions for free
Start with a short free test. See how the questions and explanations work before creating an account.
Study by topic
Work through questions one topic at a time. Read the explanations and revisit anything you find difficult.
Practise against the clock
Use the exam simulation to get used to the format and time limit. Review your result and focus on topics to revisit.
The product
What we offer
The platform has 900+ practice questions across 11 exam topics, with explanations to help you understand the answers. You also get:
Realistic exam simulations
A simulation with 38 questions and 60 minutes, designed to resemble the exam format. Practise your timing and question types before exam day.
Flashcards
Cards for efficient memorization of the terms and facts you need to remember, repeating what you have not mastered yet.
Progress and weak areas
Statistics that show what you have mastered and which topics to practise more before you sign up for the exam.
Our principles
What we stand for
Four principles guide everything we build.
Accuracy
All content is based on the official curriculum and updated when the rules change. If a mistake is reported, we fix it quickly.
Accessibility
Built for mobile, with keyboard and screen-reader support, and translated into four languages so more people can use it.
Privacy
We use privacy-friendly analytics, load no tracking before you consent, and never sell your data.
Openness
Published articles are available through RSS and an open API. We clearly state that we are independent of the exam authorities.
Quality and sources
Based on the official curriculum
All questions and explanations are based on the official curriculum from samfunnskunnskap.no, published by the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir). We track changes to the curriculum and update the bank accordingly.
Turn the curriculum into knowledge you can use. Practise a little each day, understand the answers and get familiar with the test format.
Knowledge worth sharing
Follow new articles in your own feed reader, or access published articles through our open, read-only API.
