1. About the service
SamfunnPrep is an online learning platform that helps immigrants prepare for the Samfunnskunnskapsprøven (civic knowledge test) in Norway. The service offers practice questions, exam simulations, and progress analysis. SamfunnPrep is not affiliated with HK-dir (the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills) or any official test institution.
2. Registration and account
You must create an account to use the service. You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3. Free trial
New users receive 3 days of free access upon registration. The trial includes up to 20 practice questions and 1 exam simulation. No payment information is required. The trial cannot be extended or restarted.
4. Subscription and payment
We offer two paid plans: Monthly subscription (149 NOK/mo) with automatic renewal, and Exam Package (349 NOK) with 90 days of one-time access. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices include VAT where applicable.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time via the customer portal. You retain access until the end of your billing period. The Exam Package is a one-time payment and cannot be refunded after purchase, unless required by Norwegian consumer law.
6. Intellectual property
All content on SamfunnPrep — including questions, explanations, design, and code — is protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the service. You may not copy, distribute, or resell the content.
7. Disclaimer
Questions are based on the official curriculum from samfunnskunnskap.no, but are not official test questions. SamfunnPrep does not guarantee that you will pass the test. We are not responsible for results on the official test.
8. User responsibilities
You agree not to share your account with others, use automated tools to extract content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, or use the service for illegal purposes.
9. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time via account settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data, answers, and progress are permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall first be attempted resolved amicably. If this fails, the dispute shall be decided by Norwegian courts.
