Altinn is the national digital platform that Norwegian public agencies use to send mail and forms to both individuals and companies. You log in with BankID. Altinn is used for:
- Tax returns and tax information from Skatteetaten.
- Letters from public agencies.
- Application forms (apprentice contracts, businesses, etc.).
- Business reporting.
Altinn messages are considered officially delivered 7 days after they are posted, even if you have not opened them.
